This last weekend we said good-bye to a dear friend.
Good ol' Jezebel was our (t)rusty old truck.
The ol' gal went quickly.
She sold just 12 hours after posting a midnight ad on KSL.
She saw us through our move into our first home and putting in our first yard. She took us on many Sunday drives in the hills and even more shooting excursions. Jezee kept us cold in the summers and even the winters with her working AC. In the 1,500 miles we've put on her in the last two years, she's been solid and strong (all except her very loose steering). Her blinkers were the only thing to go on Friday just a mere couple of hours before she sold. She was well-loved by her owner, Steve, and adored by co-driver Michael. She'll always be remembered as his first... (truck, that is) and will always hold a special place in his heart. She left behind many fond memories along with plenty of oil stains on our side-driveway.

Farewell, old friend.
Michael is so distraught about not having a truck anymore. Steve assures him that someday we'll buy a big, nice truck but Michael just says, "No I want our red truck." Michael keeps bringing up the truck and practically turns to tears every time. It's painful seeing how much he loved that truck. Steve says it's a guy thing.
I guess I wouldn't understand.

Let us all pause a moment in silence for that dear truck...... she was a good one. Just glad to see she was bought by "truck" people that will keep her up and running in tip top shape. (Or at least the tippest toppest shape an ol' truck like that can) farewell Jezebell cant say my hubby will miss you too much ;)
Oh no, its a sad in the world when trucks get sold. Hopefully you can get one soon. Hope you do something fun with the money!!
