HALLOWEEN 2008

Halloween was great fun like usual. We started the Halloweening at Nana's and Poppy's house. We dressed up and ate some soup and donuts. Michael was a little painted horse, I was a nurse, and Steve sported the "business in the front--party in the back" look with his mullet. The weather was great. It rained a little but was still a fairly nice evening. It was fun to see everyone dressed up. Britt wore here "corny costume" maternity shirt, Brad was an Emo teenager, Abs and Josh were farmers/cowboys?, Howie was a Crayola Crayon, and Lexy was also a Nurse. (She was more official than I was though because she made herself an actual badge. Right Lex?) Noah was Batman, Luke was Thomas the Train, Josie was a darling Ladybug, Michael a Horsey, and James was a Dalmation. It was fun to see all the kids so excited. Michael pretty much hates Halloween. He'd be perfectly fine and happy and laughing until we'd put his costume on him and then once the tears were gone he would just look at us like "You've got to be kidding me!" He was not amused with anything that we'd try. But as soon as the costume came off, he was back to his cheery self. He's a costume-humbug already!! Hopefully that will change next year?!?!

After, we went to visit Gma & Gpa out in Springville. When went with them to visit Gma & Gpa Otten (Steve's grandparents). It was a lot of fun to see the cousins. Gma got Michael laughing so hard once he was finally out of his costume. The battery went dead so I only got the beginning of it on camera but here is a sneak peak. After this video she had him laughing harder than we had ever heard. It was a riot! Michael was a good sport the whole night after being passed back and forth and with all the commotion around. We have such a good baby!! Our baby Mitole (Michael) is loved by all.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
